Entry requirements: Students under 21 GCSE passes at grade C or above in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics Plus AS/A2 passes in 1 non-science subject.
Students over 21 do not need formal qualifications, but must be able to demonstrate the ability to succeed on a degree course.

This is the Building Services stream of the University's Common Engineering Foundation Year and offers a route to the Building Services Engineering profession for those who have not followed the traditional study route of A-levels in mathematics and science. The year covers fundamental areas of science and maths and includes the knowledge, theory, and practical skills necessary to tackle the degree course itself. Successful completion of the Foundation Year ensures a place on the BSc Building Services Engineering course.
