The Acoustics Group has provided high quality consultancy service to industry fro many decades. We have expertise in many areas of acoustics such as product design, building acoustics, environmental noise, noise control, vibration, dosimetry and audiometry.

The research background of the Acoustics Group means that we are ideally placed to take on non-standard work which contains an element of research, such as product development. This has resulted in a new area for us, Enterprise- the first result is the sound absorbing mirror for the Royal Academy of Music. The second, noise badges using the iPhone for the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
