EAST ANGLIA DISTRICT CANOEING

EATON VALE, NORWICH

April 28th saw PO's Pete Huxter & Ben Mearing travel to East Anglia district to join a host of other national instructors for 1 & 2 star training, Norfolk style! Hosted by Lt(scc) Alan Blackburn (c/o Norwich unit), fourteen cadets and two instructors were put through there paces to gain one star, and in some cases (Deano!) two star qualifications. Accommodation for the weekend was provided by Cringleford Scout Camp in the form of a large field. All cadets and staff spent the weekend camping, brining another element to the Madyakkers experience. Many thanks to Alan, John, Jo, Matt, Spinksy, Deano and Cat for their help.
