EAST ANGLIA DISTRICT COMPETITION

EAGLES CANOE CENTRE, NORWICH

June 11th saw East Anglia District having their annual Canoe competition on the River Wensum, Norwich. Overseen by their district officer LtCdr(SCC) Wendy Theobald RNR around forty five cadets took part in the days events. Happy Birthday to the O.I.C of the competition Lt(SCC) Alan Blackburn RNR who for the first time in many years took to the water, joining the safety team for the day. Overall winners for the competition were Norwich Unit (TS Lord Nelson) although a big well done to all those who took part. Final thanks go out to the safety team: Ben, Deano, Danny, Spinksy! and Alan who, without there supervision, wouldn't of allowed anyone on the water!
